“ Only one hour from Hotel Ritzlerhof you’ll find this quaint lake with boat rental, swimming and a typical Austrian restaurant. The cheese soup is fabulous with Preiselbeeren and the Schnitzel very thin, to top it off with a nice ice coffee and home made Apfelstrudel with vanilla sauce. Sit outside and observe the fish. Good resting spot on a nice day during your hike. ”

“ After an hour walk along the Piburger See, we found this “above-water” restaurant. We chose to seat outside with stunning view of the lake in a sunny day, that’s so relaxing ! Simple lunch with grilled chicken salad is perfect to me. Don’t miss it ! ”
“ Restaurant on Piburge lake, Piburger See, a large restaurant with a large terrace overlooking the lake. The place is very busy. Waiting time for a table is about 10 to 15 minutes during rush hours (13:00-15:00) Waiting time for food is about 30+ minutes. Not a large selection of dishes, the dishes are very large and will be served hot, opinions are divided about the taste (less good than restaurants in the area) about the price of the dishes, a very touristy place and the price is high compared to the area. ”
